Topic: Building The Pathway to Healthy Accountability
Details:
Accountability is often a hot topic in organizations. Unfortunately, it is typically most prevalent when something has gone wrong, or there is a search for whom to blame, rather than being a tool for reinforcing positive behavior and results. While research suggests that a majority of people believe they are accountable, the idea of accountability still carries a negative, punitive context for most team members. So, how do leaders develop a healthy relationship with accountability? How do they create an environment in which people “seek accountability” rather than waiting to be “held accountable?”
In this session, Kevin will share key success factors for accountability with individuals, teams, and organizations. He will outline the Pathway to Healthy Accountability and provide you with insights you can use to measure accountability, reshape accountability, and build a culture of healthy accountability in your organization. You will return to your workplace inspired to foster an environment where accountability is a positive force in driving growth and success for individuals, teams, and the organization.
Key Takeaways:
- Key findings from recent research about the current state of accountability in organizations.
- Critical success factors for changing how individuals, teams, and organizations approach accountability.
- Five elements to establish a Pathway to Healthy Accountability in your organization.
